A specialist provider of horticultural products has awarded Construction Marketing Experts (CME) a new marketing brief.

Cheshire-based Bathgate Horticulture has enlisted CME’s expertise to implement a 12-month trade marketing campaign. The strategy will target retailers, landscapers and professional growers, and includes advertising, digital marketing, direct mail, social media, and trade show promotions.

Bathgate Horticulture is part of the Bathgate Group, a network of companies providing a broad range of products and services ranging from flooring to business finance. The company also has a well-established silica sand quarry, processing plant and onsite laboratory.

Sarah Reay, managing director of CME said: “The Bathgate Group touches many different sectors, including construction. The horticulture side of the business is relatively new, so we are bringing our extensive business-to-business experience to the table to help the company boost awareness of its product range to a very targeted audience.

“The brief requires expertise across a number of marketing disciplines, so we are well positioned to meet Bathgate’s objectives and achieve tangible results.”

David Robinson, managing director of Bathgate Horticulture said: “We chose CME as we were really impressed by the team’s enthusiasm and its track record in the trade sector.

“We needed an agency with fresh ideas as well as experience of delivering integrated, creative campaigns that can enhance customer engagement and strengthen our market position.”
