CME wins top marketing award

The champagne’s been out again at CME after we picked up another top award for our services. We won the award for Best Direct Mail Campaign at the Northern Marketing Awards, which celebrate the creativity and achievements of the marketing industry across the North.

The accolade followed a campaign we delivered for Shanco Contracts, a Castleford-based groundworks and civil engineering firm. Activity included customer research and creative direct mail pieces targeted at decision makers.

The campaign was judged as part of a two-stage process by a panel of industry experts who unanimously voted CME the winner of its category, praising the team for its ‘insightful strategic planning and incredible results.’

Sarah Reay, managing director of CME said: “We’re really proud to have been recognised by our peers for this successful campaign. The award is testament to the creativity, efforts and skills of the entire CME team and underlines our commitment to getting tangible results for our clients.

The response was fantastic resulting in enquiries, meetings and a strong pipeline of work for Shanco that continues to drive sales.

The award was presented to Sarah Reay at an awards ceremony attended by more than 350 people on Wednesday, 19 October 2016 at the Hilton hotel in Manchester.
