Award Winning Campaign for Shanco Contracts

 

Project Scope

A successful groundworks contractor, Shanco Contracts wanted to drive growth by targeting the modular construction sector.

CME carried out extensive research with modular construction specialists to identify decision making factors when procuring groundwork services and develop a detailed and segmented prospect database.

Finding that the key drivers for selecting a groundworks contractor were speed of service and trust, we developed our campaign around these concepts.  The resulting ‘Stress Free Groundworks Solutions’ campaign involved a three-phase direct mail programme to a very specific audience of 49 modular construction specialists. The campaign combined creative mail outs and case studies of previous project, supported throughout by telephone follow up and evaluation to inform the next stage of creative.

The multi-award winning campaign generated a 38% response rate – almost 30 times higher than industry average direct mail response rates - and directly resulted in almost £900K of new business for Shanco Contracts.

These results were further supported by ongoing marketing activity including a profile document for use in tender submissions, a quarterly newsletter and social media engagement.
