Chisholm & Winch is a construction, refurbishment and fit-out company, with expertise spanning the airport, data centre, commercial office and residential sectors, as well as the leisure and hospitality industry. Boasting an impressive portfolio, the company’s work can be seen at venues such as The British Museum, The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, The Virgin Atlantic Heathrow Clubhouse, The River Café, The Olympic Stadium, The Palace of Westminster and Heathrow Airport. Throughout its history, the company has worked with renowned British architects including Sir Norman Foster and Sir Richard Rogers.
Following the creation of a marketing strategy to promote Chisholm & Winch’s core areas of expertise, CME has worked with the company for the past five years to deliver a marketing plan. This has built on Chisholm & Winch’s strong reputation for delivering high quality projects and positioned the company as a trusted contractor with a breadth of skill and specialist knowledge within the team.
With a portfolio of iconic and heritage projects to draw upon, our ongoing campaign for the contractor has highlighted their distinguished experience, using a range of marketing channels, including key trade media titles, advertising, social media posts, monthly e-shots, and a quarterly e-newsletter.
In the past couple of years, with changes to the industry following the Covid-19 pandemic, Chisholm & Winch has sharpened its focus on the burgeoning airport and data hall sectors. CME has supported their business development in these areas with dedicated ‘single message’ emails to their database, LinkedIn posts highlighting key projects and people, longer form blogs and news stories for the website, as well as sales presentations. This approach has enabled them to connect with and influence key decision makers amongst the tier 1 contractors they seek to work and build relationships with.
With a long-established team at Chisholm & Winch, our tactics have also been to showcase the new talent coming through in the company, and the investment that the directors make to the apprentices and trainees that will enable the company to continue to flourish.
